President Biden's legacy after ending his reelection campaign

10:44

President Biden is no longer at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. He's watching from afar, while on vacation in California. But his presence is still felt at the DNC. He's being praised for passing the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris.

When Biden bowed out and ended his campaign for reelection, he put his own ambitions aside. Here & Now's Scott Tong talks to Robert Draper, staff writer at the New York Times whose article “Joe Biden’s Interrupted Presidency” is in this week’s New York Times Magazine.

This segment aired on August 21, 2024.
