New study finds SEC most often sides with companies against activist investor proposals

Recent changes at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission were expected to make it easier for activist investors to propose climate and social changes. But a new study by the Shareholder Rights Group found that the SEC sides with corporate requests to exclude such proposals 68% of the time.
