The Farm Bill expired earlier this year after Congress refused to take action on it. The massive $1.5 trillion spending package funds agricultural projects, conservation and food assistance.

Gautama Mehta at Grist joins host Peter O'Dowd to discuss one of the main hangups with the legislation: climate programs for farmers.

This segment aired on October 2, 2024.
