ProPublica looks at new effects of U.S. immigration

A new ProPublica series of investigations looks at the changing world of immigration in the U.S. New trends in who is coming, how they are coming, where they are coming from and what the system they are entering into paint a starkly different picture of the immigration landscape compared to even just a few years ago.

Host Scott Tong speaks to two of the reporters working on the series of investigations — Mica Rosenberg and Jeff Ernsthausen — about their work and that of their colleagues Melissa Sanchez and Maryam Jameel who have been on the ground in cities facing new immigration challenges.
