'Swept Away' tells story of family and forgiveness through Avett Brothers' music
How do you make a musical about a shipwreck believable? "Swept Away" is inspired by an Avett Brothers album and the true story of an 1884 shipwreck. After a successful run at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the show is now at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. The creative team includes three Tony Award winners.
