How swapping news sources helped people find common ground

Minnesota Public Radio News wanted to test the theory that people can find common ground on tough topics, so they invited two people with different backgrounds and political views to swap what they read, watch and listen to for their news.

MPR News reporter Catharine Richert joins us to discuss the experiment, which is part of a series called Talking Sense.
