Speaker Johnson announces transgender bathroom ban at Capitol

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is banning transgender people from using bathrooms on the House side of Capitol Hill that don't correspond to the sex they were assigned at birth. The move comes in response to the recent election of Democrat Sarah McBride of Delaware, who is set to become the first openly transgender member of Congress.
