'Convivir' blends cuisine from Mexico and California wine country

Michelin-starred chef Rogelio Garcia has a new cookbook called "Convivir," meaning "to live together" in Spanish. It celebrates his Mexican heritage and the rich culinary history of Mexico, which he blends with California wine-country cuisine.

Here & Now's Deepa Fernandes met Garcia in the kitchen at Auro, where he is executive chef, to talk about food, creating recipes influenced by his mother's home cooking and his classical French training.
