Snoopy is a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade icon

Millions tune in on their TVs or flock to New York to watch one of the marquee events of Thanksgiving every year: the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! One of the enduring and most popular stars of the event is a gigantic inflatable beagle dog: Snoopy, Charlie Brown's loveable dog from the Peanuts series.
