Fast food chains bring back retro menu items
Fast Food chains are trying something new — and old.
In an attempt to keep customers coming back, chains are bringing back popular classics, leaning into nostalgia tied to their brands.
McDonald's brought back its McRib (again) and also the Snack Wrap. Other chains — such as Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Hardee's — have classic favorites making a comeback.
For more on why these companies are doing this and what it might say about the state of the fast-food industry, host Anthony Brooks speaks to Jonathan Maze, editor-in-chief of Restaurant Business Magazine.
