Judge rejects The Onion's bid for Infowars
A bankruptcy judge rejected a bid by The Onion to buy Infowars, the conspiracy-spreading website run by Alex Jones. The judge said the process lacked transparency.
It leaves the fate of Infowars up in the air. Jones lost a $1.4 billion defamation lawsuit brought by the families of victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, and the sale of Infowars is part of Jones's payment.
Here & Now's Scott Tong speaks with NPR's David Folkenflik about what the ruling means for the fate of Infowars and The Onion's efforts to buy it.
