ABC will pay $15 million to Trump: What the defamation settlement means for the media landscape

President-elect Donald Trump scored another legal victory. ABC News agreed to pay out $15 million to settle his defamation lawsuit. Trump sued the network after anchor George Stephanopoulos made repeated on-air assertions that Trump had been found civilly liable for raping writer E. Jean Carroll.

Trump was actually found guilty of sexual abuse and defamation.
