Israel delays vote on ceasefire: Latest on deal that could halt the war in Gaza
Palestinians and Israelis express cautious optimism over the ceasefire and hostage agreement that could temporarily halt the war between Israel and Hamas. But Israel announced Thursday that it was delaying a cabinet vote on the agreement, blaming Hamas for reneging on portions of the deal, which would, in its first phase, exchange 33 Israeli hostages for about 1,000 Palestinian prisoners.
