President Trump just announced a flurry of executive actions in an effort to secure the border and limit the flow of asylum seekers to the United States.

Host Scott Tong talks with Camilo Montoya-Galvez, an immigration reporter at CBS News, about what these actions mean.

Many of Trump's actions on immigration are expected to face significant legal challenges, specifically his orders related to birthright citizenship and restricting federal funds to sanctuary cities.

Host Lisa Mullins talks with Cody Wofsy at the ACLU about the legal fights he's expecting.

This segment aired on January 21, 2025.
