American students are still performing below pre-pandemic levels, according to new data from Nation's Report Card

Results from the Nation's Report Card show that students still haven't recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted two school years with school closures, quarantines and remote learning.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is a math and reading exam that's administered to a representative subset of fourth and eighth graders across America every two years to measure student achievement and inform education policy and interventions.
