Welcome to the gun show: How an archaeologist found the U.S.' oldest cannon
A discovery in Southern Arizona could potentially be the oldest firearms ever found in the United States. Last year, researchers published a study about two cannons unearthed near the modern-day U.S.-Mexico border that are from the 1500s, when the Spanish explorer Coronado was leading a violent expedition across the region.
Here & Now's Peter O'Dowd speaks with research archeologist Deni Seymour, who found the canons.
