Senate confirms Russell Vought as Office of Management and Budget director

The Senate on Thursday voted to confirm Russell Vought as director of the Office of Management and Budget on Thursday. Vought is a considered an architect of Project 2025, the conservative blueprint for President Trump's second term, and will be key in implementing Trump's vision to reshape and dismantle the federal government. Vought also served as OMB director during Trump's first term.
