TikTok is back in U.S. app stores

As of Thursday night, TikTok is again available for download in Apple and Google app stores. The companies had removed the Chinese-owned social media app several weeks ago, to comply with a new law banning it in the U.S.

In January, President Trump issued an executive order seeking to pause the Biden-era TikTok ban. '
