New York Times to use AI for some internal purposes
The New York Times has given its reporters and editors the green light to use AI tools for things such as creating first drafts of headlines and crunching data for investigative pieces.
It's not being used to write articles.
Th use of AI at the news organization was first reported by Max Tani, the media editor at Semafor. Tani joins host Peter O'Dowd for more on the Times' plans and what it could mean for AI in the news industry.
