'The Baldwins' and 'Love, Meghan' showcase controversial celebrities attempting to be relatable

Two new reality shows approach celebrity lives from very different angles. "The Baldwins" follows Alec Baldwin, his wife Hilaria and their seven children. The show casts the legal drama around Alec's on-set shooting charges in terms of the stress it has caused his family.

Conversely, "Love, Meghan" is a breezy lifestyle show featuring Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, as she entertains friends.

We discuss the two shows and the reaction to them with NPR TV critic Eric Deggans.
