The owners of the Dakota Access Pipeline are suing the well-known environmental activist group Greenpeace for hundreds of millions of dollars. They allege Greenpeace masterminded the raucous protests in 2016 and 2017 against the construction of the pipeline near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.

Host Peter O'Dowd speaks with North Dakota Monitor reporter Mary Steurer for an update from the trial.

This segment aired on March 7, 2025.
