We revisit Robin Young's May 2024 conversation with journalist Sebastian Junger about his book "In My Time of Dying: How I came Face to Face With the Idea of an Afterlife."

In his work, Junger has embedded with troops in Afghanistan. But his most dangerous moment came in 2020 when an aneurysm almost killed him. What he experienced as doctors worked to save his life led him on an exploration of what happens when we die.
