World's largest iceberg comes to standstill
The world's largest and oldest iceberg — A23a — finally ground to a halt last week. A23a had been floating across the Southern Ocean for five years before it ran aground near the Island of South Georgia, the largely uninhabited British overseas territory.
Closely watching the iceberg's progress is oceanographer Andrew Meijers, polar oceans science leader for British Antarctic Survey. He joins host Deepa Fernandes for more.
