Pentagon restores websites on Black veterans, other veterans of color

03:30

The Pentagon is restoring some webpages highlighting the likes of Black veterans like Jackie Robinson and the Tuskegee Airmen, as well as the Navajo Code Talkers of World War II and the Japanese-American 442nd Combat Regiment. The pages were first taken offline in the wake of a White House directive to remove all diversity, equity and inclusion-related material from government websites.

This segment aired on March 20, 2025.
