Maureen Dowd on politics, life and her new book 'Notorious'

Longtime New York Times reporter Maureen Dowd is known for her political columns. But throughout her career, she's also had a penchant for in-depth one-on-one interviews with movie stars, politicians and newsmakers — among them Elon Musk, Uma Thurman, Jane Fonda, Bob Iger and others.

She recently compiled many of the interviews into a new book, "Notorious." She joined Here & Now's Robin Young at a recent event at WBUR's CitySpace to talk about the politics, her book, and more.
