Liberal candidate wins big in Wisconsin Supreme Court Election
Wisconsin's Supreme Court will maintain its liberal majority after Susan Crawford’s victory Tuesday night. The closely watched election in a swing state that President Trump narrowly won in November was seen as a test of the Trump administration's popularity.
Brad Schimel, the candidate backed by President Trump and his billionaire adviser Elon Musk — who spent roughly $20 million to support Schimel's candidacy — lost by almost a quarter of a million votes.
