On Oct. 28, 2015, an overloaded boat filled with refugees broke up and capsized off the coast of Lesvos, a Greek island. Hundreds were thrown into the water, and dozens were killed.

Journalist Jeanne Carstensen writes about the incident in the book "A Greek Tragedy: One Day, a Deadly Shipwreck and the Human Cost of the Refugee Crisis" and talks with host Deepa Fernandes about the book.
