How 'Sinners' fits into the Black horror genre

In the new horror film, “Sinners,” Michael B. Jordan plays twin brothers Smoke and Stack who return to their Mississippi hometown after years working for the Chicago Mafia. The film from "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler is making waves at the box office and challenging ideas about Black horror films.

Tananarive Due is an author and professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she teaches a course on Black horror and Afrofuturism. She joins us for more on the film.
