American philanthropists step in after U.S. cuts foreign aid

A United States Agency for International Development worker, who lost her job when the agency was largely dismantled earlier this year, now has a new job. She’s working with a group of American philanthropists eager to invest in foreign aid. They want to help fill the void created when the administration cut most foreign assistance.
