Inside San Francisco's plan to offer free child care

San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie announced a plan on Wednesday to offer free child care to families of four making less than $230,000 a year.

Starting in the fall, the city will also provide a 50% child care subsidy for families making more than $310,000 a year.

Reshma Saujani, founder of the nonprofit Girls Who Code and the group Moms First, joins us to discuss the push to expand childcare access across the country.
