03:44

In Indiana, a new law lets retailers round some cash transaction totals to combat a shortage of pennies following the decision last year to permanently halt production of the penny.

Host Peter O'Dowd speaks to Niki Kelly, editor-in-chief of the Indiana Capital Chronicle, to find out how the new law is working.

This segment aired on March 16, 2026.
