Remembering CNN founder Ted Turner
Ted Turner, the bullish founder of CNN and a suite of other cable channels, died on Wednesday. He was 87.
Turner launched a wide range of other businesses, including a bison steakhouse, a nonprofit designed to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons and an international sports competition. He was also a major philanthropist.
