Pope Leo says AI should serve people, not replace them

Pope Leo XIV is making artificial intelligence a major focus of his papacy. In a new church document, he says AI could threaten jobs and human dignity if it is not controlled.

Here & Now's Robin Young talks with David Gibson, director of the Center on Religion and Culture at Fordham University, about why the Vatican is stepping into the debate over AI.
