WBUR And Reddit Partner To Launch New Podcast

WBUR and Reddit, “the front page of the internet,” announced today a partnership to launch Endless Thread, a weekly podcast that will debut in January. Hosted by WBUR’s Ben Brock Johnson (former host of Marketplace Tech and the Codebreaker podcast) and produced by Amory Sivertson (Modern Love: The Podcast and Dear Sugars), Endless Thread will give a highly produced audio treatment to some of the best stories uncovered among Reddit's massive ecosystem of more than 135,000 online communities and 330 million monthly users. Johnson will bring listeners on an unexpected journey, telling redditors’ fascinating stories with a thematic weekly approach.

Endless Thread is a podcast for everyone — from long-time redditors to internet skeptics, and even the unacquainted. Listeners can expect to hear powerful life stories ranging from unique personal experiences like getting out of homelessness to near-death moments and the conundrum of what one’s to do upon discovering $100,000 and a mysterious videotape hidden in the wall of your house.
