WBUR Is Proud To Support The 2019 Pedro Martinez Foundation Gala

Held on Nov. 1 at the Mandarin Oriental, WBUR was—once again—a proud media sponsor of the 4th annual Pedro Martinez Foundation Gala.

Red Sox Legend and Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez was in attendance with Pedro Martinez Foundation Executive Director Carolina Martinez and many professional athletes and influencers such as David Ortiz (Red Sox), Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. (Blue Jays), Eduardo Rodriquez (Red Sox), Luis Severino (Yankees), Juan Soto (Washington Nationals), Carlos Gomez (Mets), Jason Varitek (Red Sox), Corey Kluber (Indians), Jose Reyes (Mets), and Willy Adames (Rays) among others.

The gala is an opportunity for some of the biggest names in baseball and Boston sports to come together to raise funds to support the children and families served by the Pedro Martinez Foundation in the Dominican Republic and the United States.
