New year. New news. And a new WBUR broadcast schedule

Beginning Monday, Jan. 6, some of your favorite WBUR programs will be on at new times.

Start your day with an extra hour of Morning Edition hosted by Tiziana Dearing — now airing until 10 a.m. — and On Point with Meghna Chakrabarti in its new morning time slot at 11 a.m.

Highlights of the new WBUR broadcast schedule include:

  • Morning Edition: Hosted by Tiziana Dearing, WBUR and NPR's flagship show delivers local, national and global stories weekdays from 5 a.m. – 10 a.m.
  • BBC NewsHour: Moves to 10 a.m. for coverage of international news.
  • On Point: Shifts to 11 a.m. – noon for a daily plunge into thought-provoking topics and issues of consequence with host Meghna Chakrabarti.
  • Here & Now: Adds an updated hour at 3 p.m. with hosts Deepa Fernandes, Scott Tong and Robin Young providing a seamless lead-in into WBUR and NPR's All Things Considered with host Lisa Mullins.
