Abby Salois has been a practicing attorney for the last 12 years, specializing in state-intervention child custody cases, particularly appeals. She lost her older sister, Liza Friedlander, to suicide in 2020. Since then, her work — all with an eye towards destigmatizing mental illness and suicide loss —has appeared in TWLOHA, CommonWealth Beacon and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, among other publications.
