Constance Hale is a California journalist and the author of six books, including the writing primer "Sin and Syntax." Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Wired, the Atlantic, Honolulu, National Geographic Adventure and many other magazines. She has edited more than two dozen books on leadership.
