Louise C. Ivers is the executive director of the Harvard Global Health Institute and  the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Global Health, and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She has worked in Haiti for more than 20 years supporting clinical care, health systems strengthening, disaster response and outbreak response.
