
Luz Marilis López MSW, MPH, PhD, is a clinical professor at Boston University School of Social Work, global health core director at the school’s Center for Innovation in Social Work & Health, as well as director of the dual degree program in social work and public health. Her research and practice interests include health equity, interpersonal violence, trauma care, work with immigrants and refugees and other diverse populations, Latino culture, HIV/AIDS prevention and group work.
