
Patrick Madden is a senior investigative reporter. Before joining WBUR in 2023, Madden spent four years as the first-ever regional news director for New Orleans and Baton Rouge public radio stations, where he oversaw a talented team of reporters.
Before his adventure in Louisiana, Madden was a longtime investigative reporter for the public radio station in Washington, D.C., WAMU 88.5. Madden’s journalism has led to legislative reforms and has received national recognition, including two national Edward R. Murrow awards and the 2016 Daniel Schorr Prize.
