Samuel Acevedo, is the executive director of the Boston Higher Education Resource Center (HERC), serves as a co-chair of the Boston School Committee’s opportunity and achievement gap task force, and also serves on Boston’s COVID-19 health inequities task force. Trained as a lawyer, he is the first in his family to go to college.
