Just nine days ago, the Patriots were 10-0, and fans were thinking of a perfect season.

Now they've lost two in a row, following Sunday's 35-28 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium.

Key players, such as Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Dion Lewis were missing, but quarterback Tom Brady did not use that as an excuse for the team's loss.

"You love to have everyone healthy. Every team would love that, but it's not the reality. It's tough — you got to find ways to adjust. We do plenty of good things, but I think tonight there were just some critical errors it really came down to," Brady said after Sunday's game.

To offer more perspective on the game, ESPN.com reporter Mike Reiss joined Morning Edition.

This segment aired on December 7, 2015.
