President Obama hits the road Wednesday to sell the plans he outlined in his final State of the Union address Tuesday night.

He defended his record, stating the economy has recovered from the great recession during his time in office, and he dismissed claims by some Republicans that America's enemies, such as ISIS, are getting stronger.

U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano joined Morning Edition to give his thoughts on the president's address, which he attended.

This segment aired on January 13, 2016.
