Boston Swears In First Class Of Cadets In 7 Years, As Police Force Struggles With Diversity

Several young people considering careers in law enforcement will get the chance to gain hands-on experience with the Boston Police Department.

The city of Boston swore in its first class of police cadets since 2009 on Wednesday.

WBUR's Delores Handy met a few of the cadets and has this report.
