Voters in Boston eliminated seven of the original 15 candidates for the city council at large seat in yesterday's preliminary election.
This evening, Mayor Thomas Menino debates his challenger for the job, current At Large City Councilor Maura Hennigan, in the only planned televised debate between the two.
