Beacon Hill Targets Gang Violence

The Massachusetts House of Representatives debates legislation aimed at gang violence. The House bill is similar to one passed by the Senate in the fall. It creates a state witness protection program and increases penalties for gun possession. But the bills differ over how to handle grand jury testimony and witness intimidation in cases related to gang violence.
