Reilly's Running Mate Quits
Attorney General Tom Reilly's campaign for governor of Massachusetts is in disarray. One day after Reilly introduced a running mate he called "smart, savvy and fearless," she was gone from the race for lieutenant governor.
Representative Marie Saint Fleur withdrew yesterday amid reports of tax and loan delinquency. She and her husband have unpaid federal and local taxes, and she's behind in repaying student loans. Moreover, she couldn't renew her driver's license, due to an unpaid excise tax last year.
