Immigration Plan Draws Fire

A proposal from Governor Mitt Romney to give state police the power to arrest undocumented immigrants is drawing sharp criticism from immigrants, and some elected officials.

Both Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Senator Edward Kennedy spoke out against the plan yesterday.
