Representative Frank on GOP Salvos

In the closing days of the election campaign, national Republicans have taken to targeting some veteran Democrats. Among them is Barney Frank, who's in his 13th term representing Massachusetts' 4th District.

Currently, he's the ranking minority member of the House Financial Services Committee but, if the Democrats win control of the U.S. House next Tuesday, he's expected to become chair of that panel.

In a conversation this week with WBUR's Bob Oakes, Congressman Frank spoke about how it feels to be a "bogeyman" of the GOP campaign.

This program aired on November 2, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
